Carbon Neutral Local Doorstep Delivery

Updated: Jan 9, 2021

Carbon neutral doorstep delivery service is now available from Carbon Neutral Drinks, for those wishing to opt for the click and collect service to purchase their eco tea and coffee, within an 8 mile radius from the roastery.

Our 'new' working week sees the roasters in full swing Monday and Tuesdays, completing orders, followed by a day of packing orders on Wednesday and deliveries out on Thursdays and Fridays via Royal Mail or another courier.

During times like these, we are more than happy to help our customers, wherever we can, and very happy to be donning a bike helmet to bring our products personally to their doorstep. '

As of this week, we are happy to offer those who live within an 8 mile radius of the roastery a free door step delivery, which will be delivered by one of us (while observing the social distancing rule) on our e-bikes. Our delivery radius will include the following villages: The Donheads, Tisbury, Chilmark, Ansty, Ridge, Hindon, Fonthill, West Knoyle, East Knoyle. If you are not sure if you fall within the 8 mile radius, just drop us an email to ask: admin@carbonneutraldrinks.com

Amanda Blencowe, one of the founding Directors of the company said, "We had an order come in last week from a customer, who normally would come to the roastery to collect, as she lives a few miles up the road. She was hesitant to place an order because she didn't want to pay the extra for postage, so we were very happy to bring the order to her instead and we did this whilst using our bikes and while out on our daily allowance of exercise outside the home." She added, 'During times like these, we are more than happy to help our customers, wherever we can, and very happy to be donning a bike helmet to bring our products personally to their doorstep. '

How it works: Our customers go online via our website and order in exactly the same way, and selects the 'click and collect' shipping option. A message should appear on your screen in the special instructions section stating that we are offering a free delivery within 8 miles of the roastery. Once we've received your order, we will then get in touch to confirm the delivery address. Depending on what you order, we could well be getting on our bikes within the day to make delivery. Either way, we will be able to provide you with a day and a rough time as to when it should be making an appearance on your doorstep.

We also donate £1 from every tea or coffee order to planting a tree within the United Nations Environment projects across the globe. It's more important than ever to find ways to reduce our carbon footprint and the single act of planting a tree is one thing that we can do to make a huge impact to climate change.

About our coffee: We all want to be conscious of where our coffee is coming from and we strive to do things right and that's why all our coffees are Direct Trade, which means we buy directly from the grower. In striving to source the best quality coffee for you, buying direct also ensures that a living wage is paid directly to the grower.

We ensure that all our products are sourced from growers who act responsibly, not harming the environment or exploiting their workforce.
